What is CSGOEmpire?
As you may know, Counter-Strike gambling doesn't have a good reputation. For the most part, Counter-Strike gambling sites have been non-regulated, non-transparent, in many cases illegal, and worst out of all -- fraudulent. Our mission is to fix that. CSGOEmpire is widely known for its stance on fairness and transparency. We are one of the first licensed and regulated skin gambling websites, and we do our best to make the system as fair and as transparent as possible.
You may have heard of cases where a gambling website operated a rigged game for years without getting caught. For this very reason, we think it's crucial for gambling websites to use a transparent
random number generation system. Our games are fully transparent -- With the art of cryptography, we made our games provably fair.
Let's say you make a large bet on one side of the roulette wheel. Could we manipulate the game so that you lose the bet? Well, we 'could' -- But due to the transparent system, we would immediately be caught, and the message would spread like wildfire.
As some of you may have seen, we also actively scan through other Counter-Strike gambling sites, and we've been pressuring other operators to implement transparent RNG systems. So far, this has been a big success, and we've managed to make the Counter-Strike gambling scene much cleaner than it was some years ago.
Hi, I'm known as Monarch.
In 2015, I started building CSGOEmpire from my bedroom - It all started with a small 11,000€ loan, my business partner, and a couple of freelancers.
Since then, we've grown massively, and we now employ some of the most brilliant minds in the gambling industry. We're a group of passionate gamers, gamblers, professional poker players, (e)sports bettors, and the list goes on. However, we prefer to keep our team as small and as tight as possible, and we pay them better salaries than most of the top technology companies in the world.
Our company, Moonrail Limited, is located in Curaçao. However, our team is entirely remote. Our team consists of people from over ten different countries worldwide, the majority being from Europe.
I'm personally known for my work as an advocate for fair and transparent gambling, as I'm often heavily criticizing the shadier operators in this scene.
Yes - CSGOEmpire is fully licensed and regulated. You can find our license information by clicking the license badge in the footer.
Due to the laws and regulations, we've restricted access from some countries. For example, online gambling is not permitted in the USA, which is why we don't allow traffic from USA IP addresses.
With skins - There are none.
For crypto currencies, we require you to verify your identity if you want to withdraw more than 4,500 Empire Coins total. After verifying your identity, you will be able to withdraw unlimited amounts.
Whether you are playing with pennies or gambling with millions, it's a huge priority for us to offer you a smooth and consistent experience when withdrawing. At CSGOEmpire, you should not face any unexpected surprises.
At most times, we have more than $50 million worth of Bitcoin in our cold storage. However, the balance in our hot wallets rarely exceeds more than $3 million. If you are looking to withdraw amounts bigger than that, you may need to wait a couple of days for us to re-fill our wallets.
On roulette, the maximum bet amount is 100,000 Empire Coins. However, we can easily increase this upon request.
In match betting, the limits vary from player to player. In order to stop us from bleeding money to some professional bettors, we need to set strict betting limits on their accounts.
Like any regulated casino, we don't allow minors to gamble. We do KYC (Know-Your-Customer) checks, which means that the players have to confirm their identity, location, and age.
When you first sign up on CSGOEmpire, we ask you to write your personal information.
Then, as required by the laws, rules, and moral standards, there are scenarios where we request players to prove their personal information. Below are some example scenarios where we perform a KYC check:
- When you deposit substantial amounts of money
- When you attempt to withdraw over 4,500 Empire Coins (cumulative) worth of Bitcoin or Ethereum
- For example, in cases of suspicious behavior, if there is a suspicion of the player being underaged.
When a player is required to complete a KYC check, some, or all, of the following options may be restricted: depositing, withdrawing, gambling, tipping. The KYC is completed by submitting one document with proof of identity and one with proof of address.
If the player refuses or fails to complete the check, they will remain blocked from depositing and gambling -- Essentially, they must withdraw their remaining balance and stop playing on CSGOEmpire.
KYC checks are done with the help of either Checkin or Shuftipro. The documents are stored on the respective providers servers and in our own backups (required by legal purposes), and most of them are analyzed automatically with AI. If the AI cannot read your documents clearly, then one of our employees will manually check the documents.
We understand that this kind of data is sensitive, and that's why we treat it with care and respect. We do our best to keep the data secure, and we aim to delete it as soon as possible. We collect this data only to confirm that you are eligible to gamble -- We will never sell your data.
Technically, yes. However, this is not a law -- It's just a rule of Valve.
In 2016, a couple of fraudulent operators caused some trouble for Valve. Followed by this, Valve was pressured to publish a statement where they wrote that using CSGO skins for commercial use would be prohibited.
From a player's point of view, this should not be a problem at all. Gambling with CSGO skins does not break any laws, and Valve has never banned any Steam users for gambling. Even though Valve has been trade-banning gambling site bots, the gamblers have remained untouched.
In the past, CSGOEmpire's deposit and withdrawal system used to rely on Steam bots until we came up with a brilliant innovation back in 2018; We created the "P2P" system, which stands for "peer-to-peer" or "player-to-player".
Thanks to the P2P system, CSGOEmpire can now operate without using Steam bots.
If you want to deposit a skin, we will list your item for sale on the withdraw page. For 3 minutes, the skin will be auctioned -- Other players can make offers for the skin, and after the time is over, the player with the highest bid wins the auction.
When the auction is over, you will send the skin to the other player who won the auction. Once our system sees that you completed the trade, it will then transfer the balance from the buyer to the seller.
While it may sound complicated, we managed to make the system very easy and secure to use. If you want to deposit a skin, it should not take longer than a few minutes to find a buyer. And when you want to withdraw, there will be a massive selection of skins to choose what you want.
One Empire Coin is worth approximately $0.614.
We make zero profit from the trading process. We generate our profit from the games;
Even though the games are entirely based on randomness, there's still a 'house edge.'
For example, on coinflip, we charge a 0.5% fee, which is very straight-forward.
On cases, we apply a 8.8% house edge.
Even on roulette, the house has an edge. For example, to win your bet x2, there's a 46.666% chance that you will win, while the house has a 53.333% chance to win. This is the reason why the house always generates profit in the long run.
If you believe that your skin is underpriced, you can set a custom price for it. As long as your price is reasonable, it will be bought by another player. If nobody buys it -- That means you're overestimating the price.
We hear this question often, and the answer is: No, they're not.
On the withdraw page, you will see tons of overpriced items listed by other players. However, there are lots of fairly priced items as well. You simply need to use the filters and find reasonably priced items.
Absolutely. We've taken the proper precautions to ensure that we will always have the capability to let everyone cash-out.
We've prepared for all the potential disasters that could happen -- We always have multiple layers of back-up reserves to ensure that you will be paid out. Even in the scenario of a major hack, or any other catastrophe -- It's our responsibility to let you withdraw.
Technically, we do reserve the right to select our customers, and we do have the right to ban anybody at any given time.
However, that does not give us the right to confiscate your funds. If we ban you for any reason, we will always let you withdraw your funds.
There's only one exception: If the funds were obtained in a malicious manner, such as by exploiting a bug, then we do have the right to lock the funds.
We offer self-locks that you can apply via your profile page under 'Take a break'.
You can add a gambling block or account ban that will automatically expire after 24 hours, 3 days, 7 days, 15 days or 30 days. These will not be removed by support.
If you’d like a longer ban, you can request this via our customer support.
Visit our careers page to explore opportunities with us. Every once in a while, we'll also post about open job positions on our Twitter, too.
There are lots of things that we are proud of, but these two should be the main reasons why most of our players chose us:
- Most people perceive us as the fairest and most trustworthy Counter-Strike gambling site.
- Our Counter-Strike deposit/withdraw system is far ahead of the competition -- We've managed to optimize the system extremely well so that you don't lose a lot of money on indirect fees.
As much as we try to prevent it -- Mistakes and bugs do happen sometimes. If you ever lose any funds due to a system error, our support team will make sure to give you a refund!
Certainly! While we are selective, sponsorships are available for those who demonstrate exceptional performance, a dedicated community, and alignment with our values. You're encouraged to submit your application through our sponsorship form.
Our approach differs from typical Counter-Strike gambling sites as we don't rely heavily on extensive marketing campaigns; instead, we focus on nurturing talent and passion in the gaming community.
We evaluate each application individually, with no rigid criteria for sponsorship, for us it's all about how well you resonate with our ethos and your impact in the community.
Equally, our affiliate program provides the best rewards in the industry. You can generate your own affiliate code, and when someone registers using your code, you'll earn a 30% commission of the house edge value. Learn more at our referral program here.
If you see somebody betting big amounts on CSGOEmpire -- Even if it's a big Youtuber -- You can be assured that they are playing with their own money.
It's common for gambling sites to give Youtubers 'fake' money to play with, and we believe that is wrong in so many ways.
We don't want to participate in that -- We only allow people to gamble with their own money. There are no fake bets.
That's done by design! We strongly believe in art by simplicity, and we deliberately decided to keep CSGOEmpire extremely simple.
In fact, we recently wrote a big blog post about this specific topic.
